5 Reasons Owners Are Choosing the 2026 Bowlus Frontier Edition | Only 25 Will Ever Be Made
Founder and CEO, Geneva Long, walks through the five reasons owners are choosing the 2026 Endless Highways Frontier Edition.
The apex of everything Bowlus does, capped at just 25 units. When the final Frontier leaves the floor, the run is closed.
The Frontier is the most sophisticated Bowlus ever built. Fully appointed with every core performance package, elevated with Frontier exclusive materials and craftsmanship, and available in two limited color stories: Dawn or Dusk.
The 5 reasons
- Nothing held back
Every Frontier ships fully loaded with the Adventure Package, Off Grid Power Pack II, Luxe Package, and Maneuvering Package as standard. Four optional refinements available: Epicurean Galley Package, AeroMove, smart television, and integrated Starlink. Only 25 units total, in Dawn or Dusk. - New Frontier exclusive craftsmanship
First ever two tone birch and walnut interior. Integrated safe. Separate outdoor shower. Specialty wood tables, custom headboards, custom drawer handles, and Frontier badging. Largest battery ever in a Bowlus at 19 kWh with 400W AeroSolar. 3 inch lift, all terrain tires, spare tire, and interior lashing system standard. - A tow experience most buyers do not expect
27 feet end to end at 4,400 lb GVWR on a single axle. Tows behind a Range Rover, Rivian, Tesla Model X, Porsche Cayenne, or Audi Q7. No diesel pickup required. Retains over 73% of an EV’s tested range in internal testing. Hitch up in a minute. Back into any site with AeroMove. - An interior in the conversation with luxury hotels
King bed that converts to two twins. En suite bathroom with hotel style shower and continuous hot water. Galley finished to custom sailboat standard. Hydronic heated floors and eight silent radiators. Two stage water filtration and HEPA air filter. Nothing off gasses because panels are screwed, not glued. - Built for generations
Aluminum monocoque construction, same philosophy as the original 1935 Bowlus. Panels are screwed, not glued, so they can be repaired decades from now. Every part stamped with an internal number for future replacement. Hawley Bowlus built the first riveted aluminum travel trailer in 1934 on a California ranch. Geneva’s family personally restored a 1935 Bowlus and took it cross country before reviving the company. That is what built for generations means.
Only 25 will ever be made

The 2026 Endless Highways Frontier Edition is the most sophisticated Bowlus we have ever built. It is the apex of everything we do, and only 25 will ever be made. Here are the five reasons our owners are choosing it.
The first reason is that the Frontier Edition holds nothing back. Every Frontier ships fully appointed with the Adventure Package, Off-Grid Power Package II, the Luxe Package, and the Maneuvering Package. From there, an owner can elevate further with four optional refinements: the Epicurean Galley Package, AeroMove, smart television, and integrated Starlink. Production is capped at 25 units. Each Frontier is badged and finished in one of two color stories, Dawn or Dusk. When the final Frontier leaves our floor, the run is closed. If you want this version of the Bowlus that has nothing held back, then this is it.
The second reason is that the Frontier introduces materials and craftsmanship that have never appeared on a Bowlus before. The two-tone interior pairs birch with walnut, a quiet contrast that warms the cabin in any light. The integrated safe is new. The outdoor shower is new. The specialty wood tables, the custom headboards, the drawer handles, and the limited edition badging are all new and available nowhere else. On the performance side, the Frontier carries the largest battery we have ever built: 19 kilowatt hours of lithium iron phosphate batteries paired with 400 watts of AeroSolar integrated into the roof. The combination is designed for indefinite off-grid and off-pavement travel. The Adventure Package brings a three-inch lift, all-terrain tires, a spare tire mount, and an interior lashing system for off-pavement confidence. The Frontier is rugged enough for a forest service road and refined enough to pull into a private estate.
The third reason is one I think is most often missed until the first time you tow one. The Frontier has a GVWR of 4,400 pounds on a single axle and is 27 feet end to end. That number is the result of an aluminum monocoque structure, an aerodynamic shape, and the fact that we make over 70% of all of our parts in our own factory. What you receive in exchange is freedom in how you travel. The Frontier tows behind a Range Rover, a Rivian, a Tesla Model X, a Porsche Cayenne, or an Audi Q7. You do not need a diesel pickup. When you tow with an electric vehicle, our internal testing shows that you consistently retain more than 73% of an electric vehicle’s tested range. The outstanding drive experience of a Bowlus will make you love it even more. There’s no sway and no anxiety pulling into a campsite. There’s no learning curve on a Bowlus. You just start your adventure by hitching up your Bowlus in a minute, and with AeroMove, when you arrive, you back into a site with ease. It will never be stressful.
The fourth reason, which makes the Frontier the best RV you’ll ever own, is that the interior belongs in the conversation with luxury hotels and luxury real estate, not other RVs. The bed is a king that converts into two twins, not some smallish RV queen. The bathroom is an en suite with a hotel-style shower and continuous hot water, and that’s important. The galley is finished to the standard of a custom sailboat. The heat is hydronic, with heated floors and eight silent radiators that draw little power. Two-stage water filtration and a HEPA air filter run quietly in the background. Nothing off-gasses inside because the panels are screwed in and not glued. The Frontier replaces dozens of nights at a beautiful property where the view never changes. It carries your home with you, and the view changes every time you wake up.
The fifth reason is the one I personally care about the most. The Frontier is built for generations. It is built to last long enough to mean something to the next people who travel in it, or to you in 20 years. The structure is aluminum monocoque, the same construction philosophy that the original riveted aluminum Bowlus used in the 1930s. The panels are screwed, not glued, so they can be repaired and replaced decades from now. Every Bowlus-made part is stamped with an internal part number, so a future owner can call us and receive the correct component without guesswork. That is the build side. What matters is that we build these for life, which means future repairs are easy. The heritage side is the real deal. Hawley Bowlus built the first riveted aluminum travel trailer in 1934 on a California ranch. My own family personally restored a 1935 Bowlus and took it on a cross-country trip before we ever brought back the Bowlus company. So the Frontier is what connects that Bowlus California ranch in the 1930s to the adventure your family dreams of today. You and your loved ones who climb in and out of the Bowlus for the next 30 years are going to remember exactly how it felt. Not some piece of equipment, but a part of the family. That is what built for generations means to me, being part of a legacy.
