Where To Go: America’s Top Luxury RV Resorts

If your next adventure is on the horizon, but you’re unsure of where to go, look no further. When you want all the amenities of your travel trailer, plus the many more that a resort can offer, like water access, a clubhouse, events, and maybe even a spa, look for a luxury RV resort. After plenty of thought, the team here at Bowlus has come up with a list of America’s top luxury RV resorts.

We’ve curated a selection of resorts, each that offer something different so that you can find the perfect fit for your next trip with your travel trailer. Just make sure that you always confirm with a resort that you can bring your travel trailer before making accommodations.

Chula Vista RV Resort In San Diego, California

Chula Vista RV Resort is 17 acres of landscaped, scenic land just off the San Diego Bay in San Diego, California. Next door to the Chula Vista Marina and just in front of Bayside Park, the luxury resort is enjoyable even if you don’t bring your own boat.

There are plenty of watersports to try out, including paddleboarding, swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Guests can also enjoy the resort’s live music events, bike trails, and activities that were designed just for kids.

The resort also features a variety of other amenities for visitors to enjoy. A spa, fitness center, swimming pool, game room, and clubhouse await, as well as multiple pet-friendly areas if you don’t want to leave your furry friends behind. You can also pay to use the resort’s laundry services, purchase propane, shop at their on-site store, or play a game of horseshoes.

The pull-through and back-in RV sites at Chula Vista RV Resort can accommodate RVs up to 60 feet in length with full hookups (featuring 20-, 30-, and 50-amp outlets). Each site offers garbage service, and the resort is open year-round.

Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort In Las Vegas, Nevada

What happens in Vegas doesn’t have to stay in Vegas, especially when you stay at the Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort. Centered around a 10,000 square foot clubhouse and entertainment facility (complete with a concert hall, outdoor kitchen, sitting areas, and multiple flat-screen TVs), the resort is absolutely stuffed full of five-star amenities.

Each of their facilities has laundry facilities, bathhouses, whirlpools, and swimming pools. There is also a nine-hole lighted putting course, a lighted tennis court and a pickleball court, and a spa and fitness center (with massage rooms, gym equipment, marble showers, and saunas).

The Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort is 41 acres with over a thousand palm trees and more than 400 landscaped camping sites with hookups for sewer, water, telephone, and electricity (50-amp)

The resort also has its own 1950s style diner that is open seven days a week, modeled after the class diners of old. You won’t even have to leave the premises to enjoy everything Las Vegas has to offer. However, if you do venture out, the resort is close to many local attractions like the Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and plenty of shopping, fine dining, and world-class entertainment.

Everglades Isle RV Resort in Everglades City, Florida

Located in the heart of the Everglades, the Everglades Isle RV Resort is a luxury RV enthusiast’s dream. This pet-friendly resort offers places for campers to stay, both long-term and short-term, with a wealth of amenities meant to help you relax and enjoy your time without all of the pressure that daily life often pushes onto us.

The resort offers waterfront access, conveniently located on one of the top fishing destinations in the state, 10,000 Islands. It is also near the Gulf, for those who prefer deep water access.

The clubhouse is enormous, at around 8,500 square feet, and offers all of the amenities that one might expect from a luxury RV resort— pool tables, a lounge, a fitness center, free laundry facilities, an on-site movie theater, and the ability for guests to get out and meet other people with the same interests.

Each campsite is full hookup with sewer, water, and 30-, 50-, and 100-amp electrical outlets. The resort also offers free WiFi and cable television, and large concrete slabs that were designed to help make the leveling processes much easier for their guests.

Cava Robles RV Resort In Paso Robles, California

This all-ages luxury RV resort is said to have been “designed by nature.” The resort was made for relaxation, both because of how close it is to the Paso Robles wine region and the beauty of the Pacific Coast.

Guests who decide to stay at Cava Robles RV Resort will be able to enjoy all of the resort’s fantastic, luxury amenities. There are multiple pools, fire pits, spas, dog parks, and a wellness center. The resort also hosts social events like wine tastings and outdoor movies, and there are walking trails on the premises.

Guests can visit one of the many fine-dining restaurants near the resort or stay and dine at the Farmhouse Bistro & Bar, which offers stone-fired pizza alongside a selection of local wines and beer.

Cava Robles RV Resort accepts all types of RVs, so there’s no reason not to visit with your Bowlus travel trailer. Every campsite has both pull-through and back-in sites with full hookups that have both 30- and 50-amp service. Each site was designed for seclusion and to blend as seamlessly with the natural landscape as possible.

Hearthside Grove Motorcoach Resort In Petroskey, Michigan

With so many RV resorts located in warmer areas like California, Florida, and North Carolina, some of the luxury resorts in traditionally cooler areas like Michigan don’t get nearly as much attention as they should.

The Hearthside Grove Motorcoach Resort has its own private club right in the middle of it, called the Ciderpress Club. The clubhouse hosts a wealth of social activities that anyone staying at the resort is welcome to come and enjoy, include a theater, cooking classes hosted by local chefs, and more.

Other amenities offered at the resort include a large pool, a laundry facility, fireplaces, a fitness center, and other recreational activities set in their luxurious, natural setting. In fact, the resort is set in the middle of a nature preserve.

Mountain Views RV Resort In Creede, Colorado

This stunning resort sits on the shores of the Rio Grande River and near the San Juan Mountains, making for one of the most scenic backdrops that any RV resort has to offer. The resort is the perfect stay for any camper wanting to really get out and enjoy nature without having to give up the comforts of home.

Each of the extra-large campsites has full hookups, offering water, sewer, and electrical outlets (both 30- and 50-amp) and were designed to be as level as possible. All guests have access to free WiFi, commercial-grade laundry machines, and multiple lodges with games and pool tables.

The staff at Mountain Views RV Resort also loves to host planned activities and tours, like fitness classes, hiking tours, horseback riding, and fine dining outings.

The town of Creede itself is full of small-town charm and makes for a great day trip once you’re done with all of the hiking, fishing, and other adventures the resort has to offer. The town is a historic mining town with tours and museums that celebrate its roots while still offering a boutique experience unique to the area.
